Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity is hiring a Construction Manager who will be:
Responsible for construction operations. Plan, lead, and supervise a safe and productive work environment for volunteers, including homebuyers, and subcontractors in new home construction, rehab, and repair activity. Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies. Create and execute construction schedule with mostly volunteer work force. Requirements: Must exemplify the Habitat for Humanity mission and principles; possess excellent communication and people skills to effectively lead construction work with skilled and unskilled work force. Must be proficient in residential construction and job safety practices; possess a contractor’s license or the ability to acquire one. Prepare take-offs and estimates, code invoices for job costing, be computer literate. Three years experience in a construction supervisory role is required.
