Have you lived or worked in Beaufort or Jasper County for six (6) months or more? Yes ___ No ___

3. ABILITY TO PAY
Hilton Head Regional Habitat for Humanity homeowners must have a stable, but very-low income as defined by HUD in the charts below. Applicants must have a reasonable (if not perfect) credit history. HUD guidelines are listed below according to family size.
Add up the income of every person who will live in your home and income that is expected to remain stable in the future. Include wages, disability, child support, etc.
If you live in Beaufort County, is your income higher than $20,000 but lower than the maximum income listed per family size above?

4. WILLINGNESS TO PARTNER
You and other adult members of your household must be willing to work on other Hilton Head Regional Habitat homes before yours is started, to work on your own home, and to continue to work with Hilton Head Regional Habitat after you own your home. Are you willing to make this commitment to partner with Habitat? Yes ___ No ___
If you answered “No” to any question, you are NOT eligible for a Habitat home. If you answered yes, please keep checking back to our website and social media as to when we will be accepting applications. (Probably late spring/early summer 2023).
If you checked yes to all of the questions, it does not not necessarily mean that you are eligible or will be accepted into the program, it just means that you may be eligible.
